Make shoes from scrap leather

Shoes

Design and craft a pair of 10th century german shoes. This pair of shoes will quickly become the most comfortable and durable pair you own. You build them using ancient techniques from scrap pieces of american bison leather and then paint on a rubber goop sole made from 100% recycled rubber tire shavings.

This class is taught by Jason Craban, owner of Laughingcrowe Leatherworks and lead instructor for the TrackersTEAMS Wilderness Immersion Program.

The Course

Through a mixture of hands on activities and presentation students develop a basic foundation of leather work. Our goal is to have you leave well on our way to more advanced work.
