Portland The Tribe: Wilderness Survival Skills
The world is changing. The wilderness is calling. Connection to the natural world it is about intelligence, compassion and resourcefulness. This program teaches all the skills needed to not only survive in the nature but to thrive with it.
Imagine the freedom to move through greenwood with awareness, surety and connection. You light fire with no matches. You craft a bow from a fallen branch. You follow the deer on their own trails, through their ways. And through it all, you become a team, a tribe that lives by the power of collaboration and working together.
Bush and handcraft become essential components for our lives. We develop empathy by the care required to weave cedar into a basket. We foster innovation by the intricate design involved in building highly functional shelter. And we hone awareness by silently moving through the woods, nearly invisible and fully present to wonders that few see.
Fall Session Every Tuesday for 9 weeks. A total of 9 days.
