No-School New Years Discount Camps January 2, 2012
In celebration of the New Year, our no-school discount days (January 2) offer programs at a signifigantly reduced tuition. This is an opportunity for our instructors to try new themes and for parents and campers to experience Trackers at nearly half the cost. On the last day of Winter Break, welcome to the "Island of Misfit Camps"...
Option 1 The Survivor Games
Ages 6, 7-8 & 9-10 Welcome to Trackers Survivor Games 2011. At Camp Trackers we present a training program that gets you ready for the Survivor Games. From shelter building to fire making our specialized training prepares you for the ultimate battle royal stealth battle of 2011.
• Choose your training weapon
• Stealth battle games with safe foam arrows and bows, plus foam swords
• Wilderness Survival skills
• Camouflage and evasion
• Wild edible plants and more
• Fire making with not matches
• Shelter building
Option 2 Trackers Gaming Day
Ages 9-14 Today our resident gaming expert Dan "Otis" Brophy will take a small handful of campers on an RPG adventure. Table top roleplaying games teach math, creativity and other key skills. Using dice and imagination, we explore the Treasure Vault of Tawal Daarkoth with Dungeons and Dragons as our rules guidelines. No guarantee that a board game or card game might break out as well. No matter how you roll it your child willl enjoy this day of gaming with a role-playing game expert.

Option 3 Puppets!!! Making and Theater
Ages 7-8 & 9-11 This camp is all about creating your own puppets and bringing them to life. Join Jenny Espinoza and Sara Biegelsen as these creative masters guide campers through building and creating a fantastical world of puppets. Plus explore the fantastic Puppet Museum in Sellwood!
• Make your own puppet of puppets
• Perform a puppet play
• Learn the art of the puppeteer
• Explore the Puppet Museum
Option 4 Blacksmithing: Ye' Ol' Blacksmithing Shop
Ages 11-15 Learn how to work hot metal on the anvil! We forge tapers, split, twist and punch hot metal to make aesthetic and maybe even functional items. Come have fun and try your hand at a time-honored craft.
