Welcome to West World!
Imagine a land of interdimensional crossroads where pirates and ninjas run amok. Where a secret corps of Time Traveling Cowboy Rangers keeps the peace. Here the wide open range is as vast as space and as far reaching as the stars themselves. In West World anything and everything is possible.
Steampunkers
In West World everything runs on steam, including the starships. We get a chance to look at real steam locomotives at the Brooklyn Roundhouse in Portland. Here two fire breathing iron behemoths wait at rest, the still operable engines of the ancient #4449 and #700. You also outfit yourself with all manner of steampunk tech and maker culture. This is when we "gear" up for the battle ahead.
Fire and Forge
With the Wily Eyed Blacksmith Wayne Dillon and his sword wielding Space Samurai Crew, we get a demonstration of hot metal, hammer and anvil that makes the tech of West World!
Ninjas and Pirates
We train archery, learn to lasso and practice wilderness survival skills of the open range. Learn to safely carve and whittle wood, tell tall cowboy tales and even explore the history of cowboys all across space and time.
Eventually our arch nemeses of the ninjas and pirates realize there is a bigger danger to face. We join forces and are taught their ninja ways, including martial arts, stealth and disco. Meanwhile the desert sailing pirates show us how to navigate space by the stars. All this in preparation to launch Space Ranger 1. The rocket ship that will take us to meet the growing threat.
The Quest for the West
Yeah, you thought desert sailing pirates or song and dance disco ninjas are all there was to worry about. Wait till you get a load of The Strangers, a mysterious alien force bent on invasion of West World. This is when the Time Traveling Cowboy Rangers Corps must come together with the ninjas and pirates as Krazilec approaches, the battle that will determine fate of all of humanity across all dimensions!
