Local living is where it all comes together. The realities of village life are closer to our everyday lives then they have been for a long time. In this day, we are being called to live on a more stable, sustainable and local level. Who will know how to harvest, preserve, can, and dry their own food? Who can make their own candles and butcher their own meat (we provide alternatives for vegetarians)? Can you sharpen an axe or butcher your own meat? Can you churn your own butter and make your own cheese? This is more than an evening of learning, this is an evening for community and sharing about what the village will mean not only in the coming years but for generations to come.
