This camp is not being held in 2016.

Set out on a marine adventure to the Oregon Coast. Go kayaking on coastal lakes, track animals at the Oregon Dunes and discover all the incredible life in the tidepools of the Oregon seashore.

We begin camp in our own private campground at the beautiful Sunset Bay near Coos Bay, Oregon.

We then journey to the Oregon Dunes to both kayak its lakes and track its animals, all the while learning about the incredible ecology of this unique landscape.

Finally we travel to Newport, Oregon where we stay in yurts for our last night. Here we vist the Oregon Coast Aquarium and explore the historic coastal town of Newport.

This camp includes..

Coastal Harvest & Fishing During this camp we are treated to the bounty of the sea. Under the guidance of Mariners Guild instructors we learn to harvest clams, mussels, crabs, fish and sea vegetables.

Marine Biologist We explore the fantastic and diverse tidepools of the Oregon Coast at some of the lowest tides of the summer.

Ancient Skills From knot tying to starting fires with no matches, we discover a range of ancient and primitive survival skills.

Kayak Adventure We carry our traditional skin on frame kayaks with. Along our journey we find safe waters and lakes to develop our kayaking and mariner skills.

Animal Tracking On the Oregon Dunes we reveal the perfect tablet on which to trail its awesome wildlife for long stretches of time.

Oregon Coast Culture Making our way up the coast we visit a haunted lighthouse and explore historical coastal towns. We share stories around the campfire, eat smores, play at the beach and even steal a peek into the legendary past of local pirate treasures.

Consecutive Weeks

We also provide Weekend Camp Adventures for campers registered for consecutive week of our overnight camps. You can canoe, explore local sites and visit the Oregon Coast.
