Heroes & Villains Week August 20-24, 2012 All camps this feature amusing themes of good and evil.
Choose the side of superherodom or superevil, then set about your destiny of mythic proportions!
In this week you develop your superpowers and design your super costume*. Your get a secret identity and discover why this stealth way of life is essential to any Super.
You and your super friends will find inspiration by visiting local comic book shops and meeting the creators of the comic books themselves.
Finally we train to safely use our superpowers by learning simple super stunts and testing yourself in supercharged obstacle courses.
*no children will be exposed to radioactive bugs, spiders, wolves or such unnecessarily in this camp
The Heroes
Your job is to save the world in a series of role playing adventures. You stand for truth, justice and successful branding. You fight crime and even save a kitten or two. We get involved into geopolitical stuff by writing our congressmen about the plight of mutant rights and even staging a street theater performance protest for the welfare of our mutant brethren.
Eventually Captain Jack recruits you for The Epics, an elite superhero action squad formed to defeat a rising evil force.
The Villains
You design and engineer your doomsday device that will take over the world. You learn evil strategy and evil math by roleplaying games. You also recruit minions for your evil non-profit and the coming battle with the heros.
Finally, The Evil Dr. Dice invites you into the Dastardly Club. With the combined forces of all the evildoers on the planet, good doesn't stand a chance.
