Take the worlds of elves, rangers and wizards off of the computers and back into the woods. Welcome to the Realms of Cascadia!
Trackers Earth presents an epic adventure camp and roleplaying game in a world of Elves, Gnomes, Faeries, Hairy Giants, Wizards & Rangers. For one week the Willamette Valley becomes Middle Cascadia, a land of myth and mystery. We find and build Faerie homes, follow tracks of giants and stave off bands of unfriendly trolls with the help of gallant warriors who roam the greenspaces of the realm.

This week Oaks Bottom and the Willamette Valley become a long forgotten world. All the campers become characters from different fantastical fiction: Hobbits, Rogues, Elves, Healers, Paladins, Gnomes, Rangers and more. Trackers Earth instructors are your guides in this giant week-long live action role playing game as we discover, pay homage to and explore the fantastical worlds of literature: from J.R.R. Tolkien's epic Lord of the Rings trilogy, modern roleplaying games to traditional folktales and songs. There will be wizards, fantastic journeys, fellowships and an immersion into the greatest wonders of nature.
We bring literature to life by teaching the skills of our favorite fantastic characters...
Elves (tracking), Rangers (archery and wilderness survival), Hobbits (permaculture and ecology), Knights (foam swords), Gnomes (herbal medicine), Rogues (stealth) and Wizards (languages and "theater" magic).

• mobile camp from TrackersHQ, Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge, Greenspaces in Portland
• come dressed as your favorite character (optional)
• restoration gardening, stewardship and building "Faerie Homes"
• ranger and rogue skills: stealth, evasion and wilderness survival
• archery with very simple, safe, light firing bows
• animal tracking & nature awareness

• are being forced to come to camp
• cannot display competent autonomy when needed

• is kept inside all the time so may be uncomfortable
• will not dress appropriately to stay warm, dry and healthy
• is not okay with being muddy, cold and wet at times
• has trouble working with others and respecting the needs of other participants
