Fermented Holiday Spirits
What better to lift our spirits in the rainy season than homemade adult beverages? Students learn to craft their own fermented and alcoholic beverages for the home. They leave with recipes that can age in time for holiday gift giving and parties. Must be 21 to register.
Soap Making Basics
Homemade soaps make great gifts, can save money and are an all natural alternative to many commercial soaps. Wilders instructors guide students through the soap making process, with emphasis on safety and building confidence.
Shoe Making Basics
Learn to craft and cobble your own pair shoes. This pair of shoes will quickly become the most comfortable and durable pair you own. You hand stitch them and attach a sole thin enough to feel the ground beneath you and durable to endure the concrete of city travel. In this class students not only leave with a pair of shoes, but also the knowledge to continue onto more advanced work and cobbling many pairs of shoes in the future.
