Apprenticeship
Make new friends while learning the art, craft, and sport of archery. Share in archery adventures with a team of like-minded peers. With dedication and hard-work, an Apprenticeship can grow into a life-long study of ancient skills:
Authentic Archery Begin with and then go beyond target shooting on a line. With our bows, travel the forests and fields. Learn practical archery to loose arrows with accuracy from any stance and position. Hone your focus and aim in all situations for accuracy with the bow are arrow.
The Bow, The Arrow Learn to care for your bow so it lasts a lifetime. Train with the traditional wood bow of our Rangers Guild and also use modern laminate, recurve, compound, longbow, and more. Handcraft your own arrows.
Stealth Archery As an Archery Ranger, develop flow with the forest. Train stealth and silence, camouflage, and invisibility. Learn outdoor and forest craft skills specific to Archery and our Rangers Guild.
Our Apprenticeship Mentors are experienced educators teaching authentic skills. They are facilitators of thoughtful growth through the power of nature and community.
Our Ranges We visit private sites unique to Trackers Earth, along with locally famous archery ranges. These diverse options, exclusive to our students, bring the craft of archery closer to nature and offer the best training around.
How It Works
Apprentice Training Weekends 1 Saturday or Sunday a month, Fall - Spring
At our Monthly Training Weekends, Apprentices join a team of friends learning from expert Mentors. For flexibility, we offer many schedule options–see below for dates.
Graduation Day May, 1 day
Parents and family join Apprentices and Teachers for a community celebration of what we learned.
Optional Community & Family Events Dates Vary
Apprentices and immediate family get free admission to Archery Range and Community Events.
Different Apprenticeship age groups have customized curriculum.
Grade 2-3 ∙ Grade 4-5 ∙ Grade 6-12
