Camp Kauai: Travel Info Night
Kauai's North Shore is one of the last places on Earth that genuinely earns the word wild. Ten days of snorkeling coral reefs and hiking the Napali Coast. This summer, a small group of Grades 6–10 students will go. Come hear how it works. Meet lead guide Ian Abraham, ask questions, and learn more about taking the trip of a lifetime.
Ten Days on Kauai's North Shore
This is a 10-day overnight expedition runs August 3 to 12, 2026. Every day is structured around real learning: marine biology, island biogeography, ornithology, and wilderness ecology. Every evening ends at the campfire.
Marine Ecology
Snorkel living coral reefs at Tunnels Beach and Poipu. Identify species, log them in personal journals, and learn what sustains Hawaii's underwater world.
Wildlife & Ornithology
Discover native birds through coastal and inland refuges. Seek out the Nēnē and the ʻIʻiwi honeycreeper. Visit Kilauea Point National Wildlife Refuge for nesting seabirds.
Hiking the Napali Coast
Walk the Kalalau Trail to Hanakapiai Beach, a remote stretch of coast that few visitors see. Along the way, study native species and the conservation work that protects them.
Island Biogeography
Learn why islands produce species found nowhere else on Earth and how human arrival reshapes them. Everywhe we travel tells a different chapter of the same story.
