Trackers Graduation - Potluck Picnic
Every spring, Trackers families gather at Camp Roslyn, our 341-acre forested campground in Sandy, to mark the end of a remarkable school year. Together, we celebrate all of our school year students: homeschool, after school, preschool, and apprenticeship families. Let your kids lead the way. Share potluck and a meal and connect with our Guides who made this year possible. This is what community looks like.
A Day to Explore
While families gather and share a meal, our guides lead activities across Camp Roslyn's 341 acres. Let your kids show you what they've learned, then try it yourself. There is always something happening, and always room to wander.
Hands-On Activities
Guides offer archery, fire craft, outdoor cooking, tracking, blacksmithing demos, and more. Let your kids teach you.
Nature + Goblin Market
Ask your kids show you around Camp Roslyn. Bring baubles and chim-cham treasures to trade at the Goblin Market.
Community Picnic
Share a fantastic community meal. Bring a potluck dish (label your ingredients) and connect with friends and good food.
Final Campfire
Close the day by the campfire, remembering our year through stories, appreciation, and caring for our land.
The Day
The day unfolds naturally — arrive, explore, share a meal, and close around the campfire. Plan to stay through the celebration at the end.
Schedule
- 10:30 AM: Arrival, have your kids show you Camp Roslyn.
- 11:00 AM: Potluck begins, gather in the field for orientation.
- 11:30 AM: Explore activities & connect to other families.
- 1:00 PM: Campfire gathering where we share our stories.
- 2:00–2:30 PM: Community clean-up & end of Day.
What to Bring
A potluck dish to share. Please label all ingredients clearly to help inform food allergies and preferences.
A mess kit. Bring a bowl and utensils to help with cleanup.
A water bottle & beverages. You can refill water onsite.
Good shoes, layers & picnic gear. Check the weather report for a day outdoors. Bring blankets and chairs if needed.
Getting to Camp Roslyn
Camp Roslyn (Bull Run Education Center) just outside Sandy, Oregon.

Bull Run Education Center (BREC) — 41515 SE Thomas Rd, Sandy, OR 97055
Take Hwy 26 East to Sandy, OR. Turn left onto SE Ten Eyck Rd (0.6 miles). Take the 2nd left to stay on SE Ten Eyck Rd (1.5 miles), followed by a sharp left to stay on SE Ten Eyck Rd (0.9 miles). Take a slight left onto SE Thomas Rd (0.3 miles). Bull Run School will be on your right — the campground entrance is just past the school, less than a quarter mile ahead.
Remember: Drive past the schoolhouse and into the park gates. Please drive slowly in the park.
