FREE to every outdoor program and the people who staff them. One night in late summer, the staff who ran Portland's outdoor summer and the employers who need them for fall are in the same room. Free pizza and drinks, axe throwing, archery, fire by friction, blacksmithing demos, a tournament with a crown, and a passport stamped at every employer booth. Leave your email and you will get the 2027 date first. Employers can ask for a table the same way.

Outdoor camp is a small world, and for one night a year it fits in one building. The Career Fair is a late-summer party and job fair for the people who made a Portland outdoor summer happen: counselors, guides, naturalists, drivers, and the directors who want to hire them for fall. Mostly outdoor education, plus parks and rec, nonprofits, ski areas, guiding outfits, and gear shops.
The 2027 date gets set in spring. Leave your email below and you will hear first. Employers who want a table, use the same form and say so.

Everything is free. Come hungry, bring your crew, and leave with a fall job or a new hire.

Open lanes all evening, then a bracket. One champion gets crowned in front of every outdoor camp in Portland.

Fire by friction, cordage from blackberry canes, carving the way the pros teach it to kids, forge and pottery demos, and a CDL primer in a real school bus.
🍕 Pizza, Drinks & Shop Talk
Free pizza and cold drinks (21+ with ID for the adult ones), plus conversation tables for educators from every program in the region.
