Are you ready for the Forest Forge? Apprentice at our Forest Forge. Dive into metalworking and blacksmithing as you learn to shape, weld, and repair. Work with expert mentors to master both ancient and modern craft—welding steel, forging tools, casting, and fabricating custom builds. From hammering iron at the anvil to assembling rugged, Mad Max–inspired creations, every day sparks creativity, teamwork, and skill.
Epic Overnight Expeditions!
This overnight is mobile. Your team sets up at an expedition basecamp, then heads out on day trips and even overnight trips to other wild places. Camps are 100% outdoors with fresh air and under the stars. Students sleep in tents with their team, and all meals are enjoyed outside.
Your Forge Week
Our expert Trackers Guides lead immersive, hands-on projects that blend craftsmanship, teamwork, and innovation. Each day at the Forest Forge challenges you to think like a maker and problem-solve like an engineer. Build practical skills with real tools, take creative risks, and connect with a community of dedicated creators who shape, repair, and invent together. You don’t just learn how things are made—you learn how to make them yourself.
Metalworking Learn the art of casting, welding, and fabrication. Use plasma cutters, grinders, and welders to create custom projects—from functional tools to wild art builds. Discover how heat, precision, and creative thinking turn scrap steel into something strong, useful, and beautiful. Push past “good enough” and learn how to refine metal until it does exactly what you want.
Blacksmithing Step up to the anvil at the Forest Forge. Heat iron until it glows and strike with purpose, shaping metal into blades, hooks, and hand-forged tools. Through hammer control, tempering, quenching, and finish work, develop patience, focus, and the timeless rhythm of the smith. Learn how traditional craft still matters in a world of high-tech gear.
Fabrication & Build Projects Team up to design and construct post-apocalyptic–style gear and structures. Weld armor plates, cast metal, assemble functional props and field tools, and work through real mechanical challenges—bringing big ideas to life with fire, sweat, and teamwork. Build rugged, cinematic objects and props that look like they walked out of a wasteland movie—and actually hold up in the real world.
